Trooper Really Screwed This Time

What began as an inappropriate on-duty tryst with a porn star has now turned into a nightmare for Tennessee Highway Trooper James Randy Moss.

Oops, make that former Trooper...Moss was fired yesterday, although reports are that Moss will be allowed to resign, since a letter of resignation was apparently turned in by him hours prior to the termination being issued.

The scandal stems from a routine traffic stop near Nashville back on May 7th, when Moss pulled over adult star Barbie Cummings and, after citing her for speeding and finding out she made porn, propositioned sex. Two problems for Moss however: he took photos and video of his encounter, and Cummings decided to write about the event on her blog.

As if the public embarrassment and subsequent loss of his job weren’t enough, Moss now faces an indictment from prosecutors, who hope to charge him with police misconduct, tampering with evidence, and quite possibly even sexual battery.
